David H. Livingston : Obituary

David H. Livingston, age 74 of Young Harris, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at his home.Mr. Livingston was born July 10, 1937 in Stedman, SC to Joseph and Mary Simon Livingston. He had lived in Young Harris for the past year, moving from Dahlonega, GA. David was a member of the Loudsville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: wife, Jeanette Livingston, son, Ty (April) Livingston, daughter, Kim (Craig) Padgett, daughter, Lynn Livingston, son, Clay (Sherri) Livingston, sister, Daphne Shepherd, sister, Ruby Gomez, Brother, James Livingston, 10 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren, David Livingston, Barry Livingston, Kenny Oglesby, Todd Livingston, Gene Livingston, Jason Powell.

Funeral services: Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Union Hill United Methodist Church with the Revrend Dr. Don Maynard and Revrend Dr. Charles Wilson officiating. Music will be provided by Claudette Griffith and Amber Barrett. Interment will follow in the Laurel Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers: David Livingston, Barry Livingston, Kenny Oglesby, Todd Livingston, Gene Livingston and Jason Powell.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Friday, September 09, 2011 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to Regency Hospice, P.O. Box 44, Hiawassee, GA 30546.
