Margaret Mull Stewart, age 77, of Atlanta, GA, a former resident of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011 in the Hospice Atlanta in Atlanta, GA. Mrs. Stewart was born in Fannin County, GA on June 29, 1934 to the late Dallas Frank Mull and Mae Ledford Mull. She worked as a telephone operator for AT&T.
She is survived by her husband, John D. Stewart of Atlanta, GA; son, Larry Green of Marietta, GA; daughter, Edna Mae Green of Asheville, NC; stepson, Mark Stewart of Marietta, GA; stepdaughter, Sabrina Tinsley of Marietta; brother, Jimmy Mull of Mineral Bluff; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and L.C. Stover of Marietta and Delores and Ed Pelfrey of McCaysville, GA; five grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Music will be provided by Brenda Jones. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Bruce Abshire, Tommy Tinsley, William Mull, Jason Mull, Gerald Mathis, Ronnie Shields. Interment will follow in Salem #2 Church Cemetery.
