Grace Turner : Obituary

Mrs. Grace Edna Turner, age 91 of Morganton, passed away August 8, 2011 at Gordon Hospital in Calhoun .Mrs. Turner was born February 14, 1920 in Fannin, GA to the late John Burton and the late Ada Wilson Ross. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, quilting and gospel music. She was preceded in death by husband, Early F. Turner, brothers, Earl Ross and Fess Ross, sisters Jean McClure and Ruth Pickelsimer.

Funeral services: Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grady Ray and Rev. Lee Tanner officiating. Music provided by: Looking Up and grandchildren.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Peeler officiating. Pallbearers: Ronnie Ross, Gary Ross, Michael Turner, Charlie Tankersley, David Peeler and Roger Turner.

The family will receive friends at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, August 09, 2011 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
