Dorothy Warnke : Obituary

Dorothy B. Haskin Warnke, age 83 of Young Harris, GA., passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Warnke was born October 10, 1927 in Florence, AL to Frank and Dorothy Bellamy Reeder. She was an active member of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Hayesville, NC . Dorothy was an avid bridge player, a member of the Red Hatter Club and a CHI OMEGA Sorority Alumni.

Survivors include: husband, Herman Warnke of Young Harris, daughter, Jennifer Horton and her husband, Paul, of Quincy, FL, son, Gary L. Haskin and his wife, Maureen, of Miami, FL, granddaughters, Holly Ann Taylor, Kathryn Lee Horton and Taylor G. Haskin.

Memorial services are scheduled for Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Hayesville with Rev. John Rice officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Association.
