I received a letter some time ago. From a Lover. This letter is so encouraging. It tells me how much I am loved. It explains the lengths to which my Lover has gone to demonstrate love to me; how compassionate, longsuffering, kind, gracious, and understanding my Lover is.
Whenever I am lonely, I read my letter. If I’m depressed, this letter always encourages and uplifts me. The letter from my Lover shares wisdom for life that gives me needed guidance. The letter speaks of my life purpose, and the provision my Lover makes available to me; this letter assures me that my Lover is always there for me, and that nothing is more important to my Lover than a relationship with me.
As you can imagine, I spend a lot of time reading my Lover’s letter. I read, re-read, and meditate on this letter. I have memorized portions of the letter. Sometimes I ask friends and family to help me understand parts of the letter. I keep my letter in a safe place, and treat my letter with great reverence. I can’t imagine my life without my letter.
I love this letter from my Lover. I think this letter is the most important thing in my life. Wouldn’t such a letter be the most important treasure you might imagine?
