Mr. J R Ramsey, age 87 of Copperhill, TN, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011at the Memorial Health Care System in Chattanooga, TN. Mr. Ramsey was born November 27, 1923 in, Wright City, MO to Claude Ramsey and Lorene Shanner Ramsey. J.R. was a member of the First Baptist Church of McCaysville/Copperhill. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Claudine Boswell.
Survivors include: wife, Julia Ramsey of the home; one son, Jason S Ramsey of TN, sister Mary Dixion of Ft. Scott, KN.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matthew McDaniel officiating.
