Hawkins, James E. (Enoch) passed away Tuesday, February 9th, 2011.Enoch was born August 3, 1921 to parents; David and Dora Raper Hawkins in Cherokee County, NC. But lived his life in Fannin County.
Enoch was of Baptist faith and is survived by and lovingly remembered by; one sister, Maude Gilpin, nieces and nephews, friends. Pre-deceased by his parents, sister, Della McDonald, sister, Ruth Falls, brother, Hermas Hawkins, brother, Leonard Hawkins, brother, Elyss Hawkins.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home from 6:00-9:00pm.
Services for Mr. Hawkins will be on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 10:00am from the Henry Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Wehunt officiating. Interment will follow at the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery. For online condolences and Tributes please visit www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
