Mr. Charles Edward “Ed” Galloway, age 89, of Epworth, GA, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Westminster Commons in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Galloway was born in Fannin County, to James T. & Lillie Mae Thomas Galloway.A life long resident of Fannin County, he retired from the TN Chemical Company after over 30 years of service as a repairman. He was of the Baptist Faith and served in the U.S. Navy.
Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Opha Galloway; sons, Joe Lynn and George Galloway.
Survivors include:daughter, Barbara Lewis of Epworth, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Jimmy & Helen Galloway; one brother, James Galloway of Epworth, GA; three sisters, Marie Dill of McCaysville, GA, Anna Mae Hyde of Clearwater, FL, and Jessie Holden of Buchanan, TN.
Funeral services: Finch-Cochran Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Claude Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
