Mamie Sis Mull: Obituary

The Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge announces the death of Mrs. Mamie Sis Mull, age 95, of Blue Ridge, Ga, who passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010.Mrs. Mull was born in Fannin County on October 7, 1915 to the late Robert Patterson and Martha Stepp Patterson. She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Mull; a son, Dewey Mull; grandchildren, Terry Mull and Donna Gatch; brothers, Virgil Patterson, Poley Patterson, and Vernie Patterson; and sisters, Ethel Young, Ella Coleman, Gusta Dilbeck, and Myrtle Weeks.

She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Darlene Mull of Blue Ridge and Glenn Mull of Blue Ridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Blainie Gray of Blue Ridge, Mildred and Randall Stuart of Yuma, TN, Pauline and Carl Cobb of Marietta, GA, Nina Gatch of Mableton, GA, Evelyn and James Young of Blue Ridge, and Linda Sue and Harold Hulsey of Blue Ridge; sister, Annie Galloway Queen of Blue Ridge; 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Roger Beck and Rev. Billy Ray Queen officiating. Music will be by Brian Huffman. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memory Garden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00-9:00 p.m.
