The Fannin County youth baseball All-Stars took part in the annual “Summer Slam” baseball tournament for North Georgia youth recreation leagues. The future Rebels swept the competition en route to winning the championship with a 15-1 trouncing of Copper Basin in the championship game.The Rebels bested the Bobcats from Gilmer County with a one run, 3-2, victory before bashing “Basin” in the finals.

Basin bested Pickens County, dousing the Dragons with a 9-2 win to make the championship round.
