Mamie Magdaline Goss, age 90 of Benton, TN passed away September 7, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland, TN. Ms. Goss was born April 16, 1927 in Copperhill, TN to the late Harry McFarland and the late Mary Edith McFarland. She was an active member of Welcome Valley Baptist Church, singing in the church choir and teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos C. Goss and her son, Loyd Gene Goss.

Survivors include: sons, Charles (Nancy) Goss and James (Lola) Goss, daughter, Edie Faye Goss, grandchildren, Shelia Goss, Earl (Sheila) Goss, Shawn (Gary) Moses, Lee Basquez, Shelley White, Casey McNelly, great grandchildren, Laranda, Christy, Chastity, Mandy, and Laryn, and several great great grandchildren.

Funeral services: Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Boggess officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in McCaysville, GA. Pallbearers: Garrett Pindar, Kyle Pindar, Gary Moses, Ray Bivens, Jerry Bivens and David Jones.

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Saturday, September 9, 2017, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
