Geneva Price Rose Hyatt age 85 of Farner, TN passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the Life Care Center in Ducktown. Mrs. Hyatt was born on November 10, 1931 in Ducktown to the late Charles Price and Pauline Postell Price. Mr. and Mrs. Hyatt were owners and operated the Discount Pets in Blue Ridge until their retirement in 1997. She a member of Farner Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Women’s group.

Survivors are her husband of thirty-nine years, Lawrence Hyatt of the home, children, Judy McMillan (Russell) of Tacoma, WA, Donna Anderson (Patrick) of Cleveland, TN, Terry Rose of Azle, TX, Ken Hyatt (Karen) of Springdale, AR, Sam Hyatt (Kristi) of Gainesville, GA; brother, Charles “Sonny” Price (Wanda) of Benton, TN; sisters, Margaret Morrow (Walter) of Epworth, GA, Jeanette Wood (James) of Mineral Bluff, GA and Annette Taylor (Dean) of Murphy, NC; grandchildren, Tracie McMillan of Canton, NC, Penny Hughes (Ricky) of Tacoma, WA, Eric Richeson, MI, Bella Anderson of Cleveland, TN, Nathan Hyatt, William Hyatt, Andrew Hyatt, Robert Hyatt, Deonna Hyatt and Duane Hyatt all of Springdale, AR; great-grandchildren, R.C. Beaver, Makala Beaver and Mila Hughes and great-great-grandchild, Winter Beaver.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. from the Farner Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wayne Carter officiating. Music will be by Nancy Boss. Pallbearers will be R.C. Beaver, Robert Hyatt,Bill Hyatt, Ray Dean, Leroy Taylor and Ted Boss. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Farner Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour of 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Women’s Group of Farner Presbyterian Church, 138 Underwood Drive, Farner, TN 37333.
