The recipient of the Ann Higdon math award at Fannin Middle School for 2015 is Eli Young. Eli is the son of Mark and Angie Young. The Ann Higdon Award is presented in memory of Ann Higdon, a FCMS teacher who dedicated her life to teaching students the subject of math. The first award was presented in 1995 and goes to the 8^th grade student who scores the highest on the math portion of the Georgia Milestones exam. Due to the late arrival of scores, the award was delayed for 2015.
