Fannin County 4-H’ers Compete in Project Achievement

On Saturday, December 5, eight Fannin County Cloverleaf (5th and 6th grade) 4-H members were among 232 4-H’ers competing in the 2015 Cloverleaf Project Achievement at the Union County Middle School in Blairsville. 4-H members participating in Project Achievement researched a topic and prepared a demonstration or “illustrated talk” with posters and props. This also included fine arts performances and step-by-step food product preparation.

Listed are Fannin 4-H members, projects, and placing:

Jefferson Lewis – General Recreation – 2nd place

Kaelin Cornelius – General Recreation – 4th place

Hope Wood – Human Development – 1st place

Hailee Turner – Performing Arts Vocal – 1st place

Mary Rice – Performing Arts Vocal – 2nd place

Bryce Ware – Photography – 1st place

Ethan Steidle – Poultry & Egg Science – 1st place

Arionna Davenport – Sports – 4th place

Junior 4-H member Patrick Conner attended as a teen leader.
