Saturday October 3rd 2015

Dispatched 22:00  Arrived 22:04  Cleared 23:39

Fannin County Fire Department was dispatched to Old Hwy 76 for the report of a  kitchen fire. First arriving units found smoke coming from a single story structure.  Fire originated from the stove-top and moved up the wall and into the cabinet  space above. Fire extinguished and cabinets removed no extension found above  the cabinets. All units returned to service.  Heavy to medium smoke damage thru out the structure.  Red Cross assisted the family.

Engine 11  Engine 2  Medic 6  And 14 fire fighters responded to the call.

Sunday October 4th 2015

Dispatched 14:53 Arrived 15:01 Cleared 17:31

Fannin County Fire Department was dispatched to Strawberry Ln. For the report of a switch box, fuse panel fire. First arriving units found smoke coming from a single story residential structure. Fire damage was contained to the area of the switch panel. Power had to be removed from the structure due  to the amount of damage to the panel. Also light smoke damage thru out the  structure. Red Cross assisted the family.

And 10 fire fighters responded to the call.
