Fannin County Middle School 8th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for August. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction.Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for August are: Hannah Holsonback (Team 8A), daughter of Mark & Melissa Holsonback of McCaysville; Ramtin Doroodchi (Team 8A), son of Hamidreza Doroodchi & Akhtarossadat Khakrah of Mineral Bluff; Hannah Ladd (Team 8B), daughter of Andrew & Donna Ladd of Blue Ridge; and Chase Culpepper (Team 8B), son of Shan & Kathy Culpepper of Blue Ridge.
