Four Kennesaw State Owls scored in double figures on Thursday night. However, a late, 13-5, run by the Lipscomb Bisons sealed the outcome. The Owls fell, 82-67, at the KSU Convocation Center. Despite the loss, the Owls clinched a spot in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament due to Stetson’s loss against North Florida.

Atlanta Braves President John Schuerholz announced today that the Club has signed Executive Vice President and General Manager Frank Wren to a two-year contract extension through the 2013 season. Wren, 52, is entering his fourth season as General Manager after previously serving as Assistant General Manager to Schuerholz for eight seasons (2000-07).

Following a fourth losing season in six years, head men’s basketball coach Paul Hewitt has been relieved of his duties after 11 seasons at Georgia Tech. Director of Athletics Dan Radakovich, said that a national search for Hewitt’s replacement would begin immediately.
