Kenneth Wesley Barnes, age 33 of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016. Kenneth was born December 22, 1982 in Atlanta, GA to Windell Glenn Barnes and Mary Ann Barnes. In his spare time, Kenneth enjoyed fishing, swimming and spending time with his children.

Survivors include: father, Windell Glenn Barnes, mother, Mary Ann Barnes, wife, Jennifer Barnes, sister, Carla Barnes (Charles) Morrisett, sister, Lisa Regan, Brother, Paul Regan, Brother, Richard Bishop, Brother, Mathew Rampey, Brother, Joseph Rampey, son, Aden Jones, son, Hunter Wesley Barnes, daughter, Alliann Barnes and brother in law, Jason Hooper.

Funeral services: Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Nathan Stuart officiating. Interment will follow in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery . Pallbearers: Mathew Rampey, Charles Morrisett, William Mashburn, Greg Roper and Richard Bishop.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, July 2, 2016, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
