West Fannin Elementary Students in 1st and 2nd grade had career day on May 2, 2016.  Guest speakers for 2nd grade were Dr. Jennifer Jabaley and Jennifer Danner.  Dr. Jabaley spoke to the students about being an Optometrist as well as an Author.  Jennifer Danner spoke to the students about Visual Arts careers including painting and photography.  Guest speakers for 1st grade were Captain Scott Lewis, Dr. Deanna Belyeu, and Brent Jones.  Captain Lewis spoke to the students about being a Fireman and included fire safety.  Dr. Belyeu spoke with the students about being a Veterinarian.  Brent Jones spoke with the students about transportation careers and brought a tow truck for the students.  Everyone did a wonderful job and the students had a great time.  Thank you to each of you for your help.
