Fannin County Fire Report for 657 East Main Street Fire

Fannin County Fire Department was dispatched to 657 East Main Street for the report of a grease fire on the stove. Units arrived on scene to find that we had light smoke showing from the building, and active fire on the stove. Fire fighters entered the building with a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire, and noticed that they were several occupants still in the dining room and front dining area. Ask for a complete evacuation of the building, and the two other building on each side of the business. Also setup PPV fan to clear the smoke from the building while laying an attack line from Engine 1. Fire extinguished and building was checked for any extension of fire. All unit returned to service.
