James Franklin “Frank” Morgan, age 65 of Morganton, GA passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016. He was born on Monday, June 26, 1950 in Polk County, TN. Frank was a road construction truck driver. He was a member of Murphy Church of Christ. Frank was preceded in death by father, Junior Howard Morgan and wife, Dawn Panther Morgan.

Survivors are daughter, JoEllen Racheal Wilkins (Ronald) of Culberson, NC; sons, Charles Anthony Morgan of Blue Ridge, GA and David Franklin Morgan of Calhoun, GA; stepsons, Jason Murrin Murphy, NC and Tim Dockery of Murphy, NC; stepdaughter, Amy Morrow (Jeremy) of Murphy, NC; mother, Dorothy Parr Morgan of Blue Ridge, GA; brother, Ricky Morgan (Diane) of Blue Ridge, GA; sisters, Betty Stanley (David) of Ellijay, GA, Janet Carpenter (Mike) of Winder, GA and Barbara Rhodes (Jackie) of McCaysville, GA; grandchildren, Austin Murrin, Brandon Morrow, Scott Morrow, Tori Dockery, Stephen Wilkins (Fiancée, Elizabeth), Jordan Dockery, Stefanie Wilkins and Andrea Morrow; great-grandchild, Zavior Wilkins and partner, Linda Starke of Morganton, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Minister Roy Stephenson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to help defray final expenses.
