Jeanne Melissa Panter, age 45 of Mineral Bluff passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016. She was born on Saturday, July 25, 1970 in Fannin County. Jeanne registered patients at Fannin Regional Hospital. She was a member of Hothouse Baptist Church. Jeanne was preceded in death by a daughter, Gracie Clinton.

Survivors are son, Matthew J Cash of Mineral Bluff, GA; mother, Lawanda Housley Whitener of Mineral Bluff, GA; father, Wallace L. Panter of Mineral Bluff, GA; brothers, Mark W. Panter of Dacula, GA and Wallace Blake Panter (Crystal) of Tampa, FL; sisters, Terri Eve Panter of Marietta, GA and Sherry P. Dunn (David) of Athens, GA; niece, Tosha Dunn and nephew, Scott Rose also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Wesley Davenport and Rev. Danny Queen officiating. Music will be by the A.C. Caylor Family. Interment will follow in the Welcome Hill #2 Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, January 27, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
