Fannin County Fire Department was dispatched to the above location for the report of a garage fire, garage being 15 ft. away from the house. Engine 3 arrived on scene and deployed two 1-3/4″ attack lines to protect exposures and start bringing the fire under control. Tanker 3, Engine 13, Engine 1 provided water supply to Engine 3 until fire was out. Blue Ridge Mtn. EMC was requested to respond and Local Investigator was contacted. 15 fire fighters responded to the call along with the following apparatus.

Fannin County Fire Department was dispatched to 32 Brookwood Ct. for the report of a fire. Engine 1 arrived on scene to find a multi story apartment building fully involved with flames, with vehicles exposed on the front side of the building. Engine 1 deployed two attack line, and started using the Deluge to start bringing the fire under control. Engine 1 requested more manpower. Personnel met with occupants of the building to determine that everyone was out of the building. Medic 5 transported one occupant to Fannin Regional Hospital, and another Medic unit was requested to the scene. Engine 2 arrived and supplied Engine 1 with water from a nearby hydrant, Engine 16 arrived to protect other nearby structures. Law enforcement was requested to assist in traffic control. Red Cross was notified for the occupants of the building. Blue Ridge water authority was also notified. Tri State EMC was contacted to remove power from the immediate area. Ladder 1 was used to extinguish remaining fire in the building. Local and State Investigator was contacted to investigate the cause of the fire.
