The Fannin County High School Varsity Academic Team won their opening match by defeating Dawson County but lost the next week to Gilmer County.The team’s current record is 1-1. Both the Varsity and JV Academic Teams practice before and after school to sharpen their skills on English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Current Events. The sponsors for the teams are Kim Kribbs and Jennifer Kniess.
