Mr. Robert Charles Plush, age 65, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at his home.Mr. Plush was born in Fannin County, GA on July 3, 1948. He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ and was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Irene Dawson Plush and his father, Robert Sylvester Plush.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Anthony Morgan and John Phillip Wells, both of Blue Ridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Ann Hamler and Jeff Hamler of Young Harris, GA, Melissa and Rick Mashbrun of Florida, and Charlotte and James Kilpatrick of Cherry Log, GA; mother, Willa Nell Plush of Blue Ridge; brothers, William Plush, Raymond Plush, Jerry Plush, and Billy Joe Plush all of Blue Ridge, GA; sisters, Betty Sue Barfield an Willa Mae Holloway, both of Ellijay; 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Dennis Morris officiating. Music will be led by Jonah Kilpatrick. Pallbearers will be James Kilpatrick, Chase Roberts, Brandon Plush, Donnie Callihan, Jody Barfield, and Mike Rogers. Honorary pallbearer will be Hoyt Kilpatrick. Interment will follow in Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery with military honors by North Georgia Honor Guard.
