Fannin County Middle School 8th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for April. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction.Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for April are: Amanda McDaniel (Team 8A), daughter of Janine McDaniel of Blue Ridge; Dawson Sparks (Team 8A), son of Shaun & Lisa Cole of Morganton and Josh Sparks of Morganton; and Haylee Franklin (Team 8B), daughter of Joey & Robin Reeves of Blue Ridge; Ethan Taylor (Team 8B), son of Lisa Taylor of Mineral Bluff and Todd Taylor of Blue Ridge.
