Mrs. Jean Bell Harper, age 79 of Morganton, passed away March 8, 2013. Mrs. Harper was born April 19, 1933 in McCaysville, GA to Allison and Effie Johnson Bell. A member of Midway Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by husband, William Harper, son, Dwight J. Harper.

Survivors include: daughter & son-in-law, Cynthia “Cindy” (James R. Guinn) Guinn, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service: Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Midway Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Rice & Rev. Douglas Pain officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, March 09, 2013 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
