Mr. Silvie D. Crawford, age 91 of Morganton, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Fannin Regional Hospital.Mr. Crawford was born July 30, 1921 in Hurst, GA to the late Rufus and the late Georgia Cruse Crawford. He was a member of Bethel Methodist Church retired from Savannah River Plant.

Survivors include: wife, Flora Atkins Crawford, son, David (Lisa) Crawford, daughter, Margaret (Keith) Crawford Ferguson, grandson, John Crawford, grandson, Jason Crawford, granddaughter, Olivia Crawford, grandson, Jason Osgatharp, granddaughter, Jessica Ganus, grandchildren, Jessica Paris, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 at 4:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Morton officiating. Interment will follow in Hemptown Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: John Crawford, Jason Crawford, Seth Crawford, Billy Nichols, Keith Ferguson, Russell Moore. Honorary pallbearers: Jason Osgatharp, Benny Crawford, Howell Bruce, Howie Bruce, Kevin Bruce, Scott Morre, Steve Atkins, William Pertet, William Mubanba, Vic Smith.
