Wilma Irene Stiles Seabolt, age 79, of Ball Ground, GA, died on Sunday evening after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.For the past 3 years her loving husband JC provided the majority of her care until the family was very recently guided into the wonderful care of Embracing Hopsice House in Cumming, Georigia, where she died peacefully with JC and her son Steve at her side.

Wilma was born and raised in Murphy, NC and married JC in February of 1955 and had one child, Stephen Seabolt. She retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation after 25 years of service and was able to enjoy 15 years of retirement and revel in the joy of her 2 grandchildren, Emily Caroline and Andrew Stone.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Icey Stiles of Murphy, NC. She is survived in death by her husband of 58 years, JC, her only son Stephen Richard and his wife Lorie of Johns Creek, GA and their 2 children, Emily Caroline and Andrew Stone Seabolt. She is also survived by siblings, Lloyd Stiles and his wife Maggie of Murphy, NC; Alma Ivey and her husband Jack of Hixon, TN; Thelma McDonald and her husband Wilford of Murphy, NC; Jearlean Holbrooks of Dawsonville, GA and Doris Roberson and her husband Rev. Richard of Hayesville, NC.

Service will be held at Cochran Funeral Home, Murphy Chapel on Thursday, December 27.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm with service to begin at 2:00 pm. with Wilma’s brother in law, Pastor Richard Roberson presiding. Interment immediately following the service at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Peachtree, NC.
