Fannin County Middle School 8th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for November. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for November are: Mylee Butler (Team 8A), daughter of Matthew & Misti Butler of Mineral Bluff; Jordan Barnes (Team 8A), son of Angie Barnes of Blue Ridge; Lauren Dodge (Team 8B), daughter of Amanda Shuler of McCaysville; and Grant Fitts (Team 8B), son of Nathan Fitts of Blue Ridge and Kelli Tankersley of Blue Ridge.
