Rechell Griffith, age 40, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 in the Embracing Hospice Place in Cumming, GA.She born in Copperhill, TN on May 17, 1972. She retired as housekeeping supervisor for Gilmer County Courthouse. She was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her father, Frank Pierice, Jr.

She is surived by her mother, Ruth Ann Mason of Cherry Log, GA; daughters, Taryn Mooney of Blue Ridge; Erika Watkins of Athens, GA; brothers, Jimmy Scott Huffman of Cherry Log, GA and Justin Mason of Blue Ridge; sisters, Robin Kirby of Morganton, Tammy Wood of Blue Ridge, and Rebecca Dawn Hensley of Ellijay; and one grandchild, Lauryn Sherbert.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. Terry Stuart and Min. Justin Mason officiating. Pallbearers will be Steve Bolling, Shane Abercrombie, Robert Wood, Danny Hensley, Donny Mooney, and Trent McClure. Honorary pallbearers will be Russ Pittman, Bud Kirby, and Robert Wood. Interment will follow in Stanely Creek Church of Christ Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
