Youth Softball Camp will be held at Fannin County High School, March 24 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Registration and check-in begins 8:30 in the old gym. The camp is $ 10.00. $5.00 for campers enrolled in Fannin County Dizzy Dean Softball program. Youth camp is open to ages 5-14. Coaches will cover all aspects of the game: bunting, hitting, slapping, base-running, sliding, pitching, catching, throwing, fielding, in-field, out-field, defense, mental aspects, strength and agility training. Campers need to bring their bats, helmets, gloves, tennis shoes, NO CLEATS, catcher’s gear, sun screen, snacks, Gatorade/Powerade, and a sack lunch. All campers will receive 5 hours of quality instruction and chances to win prizes. Do not miss a great opportunity; camp spots will fill up fast. Don’t get left out!
