Matthew 5:5 “Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.”

O God, you offer a special happiness to those who are humble before you and allow you to control their lives. Your control places us in a position where we can control our passions, our instincts, our speech, and our impulses. We want to be under your divine favor.

Help us to be humble and submissive to you and strong and self controlled in our daily lives. You have taught us that this is the way to make it victoriously through our earthly lives. We will inherit the best that life has to offer.

Give your people a holy boldness that can truly become a humble submission to you through our Lord Jesus – the Christ.
