Upcoming songwriting competition in Blue Ridge, GA

If you’re a songwriter or know of a great Songwriter-Listen Up! Next Thursday May 19th in GA, this is your opportunity to have your songs heard.In addition to a packed house, you will be broadcast live via ustream for all your friends, family, and fans to see. The Blue Ridge Songwriter Contest will officially kick off Thursday May 19, 2011. If you or someone you know is a songwriter and would like to participate in the contest, this is a great opportunity!

Winners will be determined by online votes to be cast for the singers/writers in the competition. All genres are accepted. Each writer will receive their performance via email following the show.

Once a month thru October a new winner will be determined. The Grand Prize winner in October will recieve free studio time and professional musicians on Nashville’s Music Row. A seat at the table with Nashville’s most well known songwriters for a real studio songwriting session, and become part of the regular rotation of writers that make up the Nashville Songwriter Circle.

REQUIRED –
1.) the song must be wtitten by you. AND
2.) you will either need to know how to play an instrument or we will need your song information asap so our musicians can learn to play it for you.
