Atlanta Hawks players Kirk Hinrich, Jason Collins and Pape Sy joined Atlanta Flames alumnus Dan Bouchard and staff volunteers from the Hawks, Thrashers, Philips Arena and The Home Depot for a tree mulching project in and around Vine City as part of the organization’s “Follow Our LEED” sustainability initiative. Through the Hawks’ “Threes for Trees” program presented by The Home Depot, a donation will be made to Trees Atlanta for every three-pointer made by the Hawks during the 2010-11 season.
