Mr. Michael Moore, age 43 of Murphy, NC, passed away at his residence February 15, 2011Mr. Moore was born in Murphy, NC to Roy Moore and Ethel McTaggart Moore. A member of Upper Peachtree Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his parents Roy Moore & Ethel Moore, daughter & son-in-law, Ashley (David) Bradshaw of Hiawassee, GA son, Matthew B. Moore of Murphy, NC, brother & sister-in-law, Donald (Shelia) Moore of Rising Sun, MD, brother & sister-in-law, Allan (Helen) Moore of Murphy, NC.

Funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Sunday Feb. 20, 2011 from the Cochran Funeral Home Murphy, with the Rev. Tony Raxter officiating. Interment is in Peachtree Baptist Church Cemetery. The Pallbearers are: Earl & Greg Bradshaw, Timmy Panter, Johnny Roach, Robert Elliott & Harold Moore.
