The Fannin Rebels hosted the Leopards of Banks County, the Dragons of Pickens County and the Bobcats of Gilmer County on Senior Night. The Rebels went 1-2 that night. They posted a 57-24 win at the expense of the Dragons, but fell to the Leopards and the Bobcats, 45-30 and 78-0 respectively. The Rebels lost a close dual to the Leopards. The match decided by 15 points was a back and forth affair in which the winning Leopards benefited from a forfeit worth six team points, the same as a pin.

Following the battle with the Leopards there was a brief ceremony for the senior wrestlers and their parents. Each senior was presented with a bouquet of flowers and invited to the center of the mat, so that the home crowd could show their appreciation.
After the ceremony the Rebels took on the Dragons of Pickens County. They began the dual on a three match losing streak, all decided by pins. Down 18-0, the Rebels picked up six points with a pin at the 125 weight class. Following another pin by the Dragons, the rebels rattled off nine straight wins for a 57-24 comeback win worthy of Shrek the Third.
The victory was the Rebels’ lone of the night as their next dual was a debacle. The home team was shut out by the Gilmer Bobcats 78-0.
