FANNIN COUNTY, Ga. — Arrest warrants connected to the investigation of a severely malnourished Basset Hound rescued in Fannin County are expected to be served today, according to a source at Fannin County Sheriff’s Office.
The eight-year-old dog, named Dolly, was recovered by Fannin County Animal Control on January 24 and transported to a local veterinarian after being found unresponsive.
A sourced confirmed today that Dolly is still in the care of Dr. Mitchell but at an undisclosed location.
Dolly is reportedly showing positive signs of improvement.
The names of the individuals listed in the warrants are yet to be disclosed.
