Kaylor Paces Rebels in Dominant Win Over Coosa
Fannin’s Varsity Rebels controlled the action from start to finish Tuesday night, rolling past Coosa 58–37 behind a 16-point performance from Kolton Kaylor.
The Rebels jumped out early and never looked back, building a steady lead that ballooned to as many as 30 points late in the game. After taking a 17–8 advantage, Fannin County went on a decisive 14–0 run to create separation and carried a commanding 34–13 lead into halftime.
Fannin County continued to dictate the pace in the second quarter, moving the ball effectively with four assists and outscoring Coosa 19–7 during the stretch.
The Rebels’ defense was just as impressive, recording three blocked shots and forcing 15 steals. Fannin County also dominated the paint, pulling down 32 rebounds, with Keaton Watkins leading the way with eight boards.
Brody Henson added 14 points in the win, while Watkins chipped in nine. Hudson York connected on two three-pointers and finished with six points. Avrey Angel and Tyler Blake each scored five points, and Cannon Holloway added three to round out the scoring.
