Cole Runs Wild as Fannin County Tops Coosa, 35–15

BLUE RIDGE – Friday night under the lights at Rebel Stadium, the Fannin County Rebels turned in a statement performance, beating Coosa 35–15 behind a dominant effort from their ground game and a defense that stepped up when it mattered.

Key Stats & Standout Performers

Bryson Cole was the star of the night. He rushed for 189 yards and found the end zone three times, doing all that on just 13 carries. His efficiency and explosion helped Fannin control the line of scrimmage.

Coosa managed to put points on the board thanks to contributions from Timbo Mitchell and Jaylen Hazzard.

Game Flow & Momentum

The Rebels came out fast and physical, leaning on their run game to set tone early. As the first half progressed, Cole’s long runs and tough carries kept Coosa’s defense honest and wore them down. Even when Coosa threatened, Fannin’s defense answered key calls to keep momentum on their side.

Coosa’s touchdowns kept the game from turning into a blowout, but the Rebels never let them off the hook — every time the Eagles tried to get back in, Fannin tightened up, especially in the second half.

What the Win Means

With the 35–15 victory, Fannin County improves to 2–2 on the season. The win also gives the Rebels a two-game winning streak, instilling more confidence as they move into more challenging region matchups.

The performance from Cole in particular will send a message to upcoming opponents: Fannin’s run game is dangerous, and when the backs and line are clicking, they’re hard to stop.
