Forsyth, Fannin, and Bradley County Fire divers along with Allison Towing work together to retrieve a vehicle from a lake

PRESS RELEASE- Cold busy morning. Last night a car accidentally slipped out of the parking lot and into the lake at Merciers Apple Orchard. Fortunately, the vehicle operator was not in the car. In an effort to recover property and prevent pollution, your FCFD returned during daylight hour’s to locate and recover the vehicle. Forsyth County Fire divers assisted by Fannin and Bradley County Fire divers went into the murky cold waters and hooked a cable up after being directed to the location by our sonar equipped kayak. Allison towing expertly finished the job of removal.
Thanks again to all of our mutual aid partners who worked with us and helped us out so much today.
