Fannin County Technology Student Association traveled to Louisville, KY

Announcements, Community, Education

The Fannin County Technology Student Association traveled to Louisville, KY for the TSA National Conference from June 28th to July 2nd.  The students earned the privilege of competing at the National Conference through their top five performances at the TSA State Conference in March this year.

James Burrell represented Fannin County Middle School and won 1st Place at the National Conference in Foundations of Information Technology!  James placed in the top 5 in three events at the State Conference, and it is an extraordinary accomplishment to win a 1st place trophy at the National Conference!  We are so proud of James!
Bryce Ware, James Kyle, and Sam Jabaley finished in the top 8 in Technology Bowl at the conference.
The conference was attended by 7,000 students from 48 states and 3 countries.
“I am particularly proud of the senior class for Fannin TSA.  Bryce, James, Sam, and Logan have been active in TSA for 7 years, and they have done an amazing job competing at both the State and National levels.  James, Sam, and Logan are starting Georgia Tech this fall, and Bryce is headed to Vanderbilt University.  These young men have been a pleasure to work with, and I am glad to be a small part of their journey.  I can’t wait to see the amazing things they accomplish in the future.” – Mr. Bubba Gibbs, TSA Advisor and Engineering Teacher at FCHS
Louisville was a wonderful city to host the conference.  The students were able to tour the Louisville Slugger bat factory and get their picture with one of Hank Aaron’s and Babe Ruth’s bats.
