McEachern High School- The Georgia High School Association AA State Track Championships were held last week at McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia.
The Fannin County High School Men’s Track and Field team came in fourth place in the entire state, earning them a spot on the podium and the fourth place trophy. The Girl’s team also did well, finishing in 10th place out of 40 teams.
Several athletes set personal records and received medals, as Corbin Davenport came away with a first-place state championship and 4 others had state runner-up finishes.

Grayson Willis- Men’s 110M Hurdles State Runner-up
Lindsey Holloway- Women’s 3200M Run State Runner-up and 1600M Run Fourth Place
Girls 4x800M Relay Team- State Runner-up (Lindsey Holloway, Ava Acker, Carlee Holloway, Karli Sims)
Mathew Crowder- Men’s Shotput Fifth Place, Men’s Discus 6th Place
Zechariah Prater- Men’s 3200M Run Fourth Place
Karli Sams- Women’s 800M Run Sixth Place
