BLUE RIDGE, Ga – Three Fannin teenagers are in critical condition following a car crash on January 12. Now, Fannin students and residents are doing their part to help the families during this difficult time.
The accident occurred just past the Fannin/ Union County line at the intersection of 515 and Nottely Dam Road, across from the Valero gas station. The teenagers and a driver of a Ford F-350 collided. At this time, it’s unclear who was at fault for the incident.
On January 16, a parking lot fundraiser will be held at the corner of East First Street and Depot Street in Downtown Blue Ridge. Starting at 9 a.m. with a prayer meeting, the fundraiser’s proceeds will go to help the injured students’ medical expenses.
