Fannin County Rebels Head Coach Chad Cheatham is in the running for the NwGAFootball Coach of The Year award!
Coach Cheatham has led the Rebels to an undefeated regular season, the Region 7aa Championship, and the second round of the playoffs thus far!
His success on the field is overshadowed only by what he and his football team have been able to do off the field. They have made a huge impact in the community of Blue Ridge, and helped families come together during this trying year that has been 2020.
This 2020 Fannin County Rebels football team has scored the most points in program history at 376. To go right along with the Rebs high powered offense, the defense has been a brick wall all year, only allowing 104 points to be scored on them all year, another program record.
This was the first year since 2007 that the Rebels won a Region Championship, and the first time that they had won a playoff game since 1995!
This 2020 group of players and coaches will be remembered no matter what, but #TeamFYNsports is inviting you to make sure that they can also be remembered by having the Coach of the Year!
