Mrs. Helen Thurman Bailey, age 89, of Blue Ridge passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019. She was born on May 22, 1930 to the late Glenn Thurman and Becky German Thurman. She was a member of the First Baptist Church McCaysville/Copperhill. She worked in many local health care facilities as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bailey; and siblings, Jean Thurman Adams, Bobby Thurman, and Billy Thurman.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Kay and Larry Seabolt of Morganton and Jim and Pat Bailey of Dawsonville; sisters, Doris Quillen of Blairsville and Marlene Greene of Tucker; grandchildren, Kayla Seabolt of Senoia, Keelan Seabolt of Atlanta, Matt Bailey of Dallas, and Brad and his wife, Angel Bailey of Dawsonville; and great-grandchildren, Kitt Bailey, Kalla Bailey, and Boone Bailey.
