Candi Lynette Hicks, age 48, of Mineral Bluff, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. She was born on May 1, 1971 in Polk County, TN. She was a member of Hipps Chapel Church. She is preceded in death by her mother, Judy Dyer Hicks.
She is survived by her husband, James Hawkins; daughters, Cheyanne Hawkins, Jennifer Hawkins, and Emily Hawkins; step-children, Matt Hawkins and Beth Hawkins; son-in-law, Jerry Hawkins; father, Arthur Hicks; sisters, Brandy Hefner and Amber Mauldin; and many other relatives and friends also survive.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 4:00 PM from the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Delmar Davenport and Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 3:00 PM until the service hour 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help defray final expenses.
