Fall clean-up October 5 with Fannin Litterbusters

BLUE RIDGE, GA – Fannin Litterbusters holding their fall roadside clean up on Saturday, October 5 from 9 to 11 a.m. on Hwy. 515.

Litterbusters is asking for volunteers to help keep Fannin clean as the busy fall season begins.

On Saturday, Oct. 5, along Hwy. 515, volunteers will gather to pick up any miscellaneous garbage on the roadside. Volunteers will meet at the United Community Bank Pavilion at 4000 Appalachian Hwy., Blue Ridge, GA.

Anyone interested in volunteering needs to be 18 years or older due to safety concerns. They also need to bring water, safety vest, and gloves. Bags will be provided.

Individuals need to be advised that working along active roadways is potentially hazardous and they assume the risk when volunteering. Litterbusters and partners are not responsible for any harm that occurs to a person while assisting with the roadside clean up.
