Sandra Jean Morris: Obituary

Sandra Jean Morris, age 60, of Morganton, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019 in Gainesville, GA. She was born in Ellijay, GA to the late Cecil Farmer and Mildred Green Farmer. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and was self employed. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Stillwell.

She is survived by her husband Steve Morris; sons, Jason (Amanda) Campbell and Jeremy Campbell; brother Michael Farmer; granddaughter Whitney Campbell; nephews, Scott Thomas and Michael Loudermilk, and niece Hannah Loudermilk also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Claude Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in the O’Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Michael Loudermilk, Rodney Palmer, Rollie Barrett, Tim Sneed, Steve Wooten, Zeke Henson, and Scott Thomas will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
