Helen E. Curry

September 15, 1932 – May 16, 2019

Mrs. Helen E. Curry, age 86 of Blue Ridge passed away on Thursday May 16, 2019 at the Pruitt Health of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Curry was born in Wheeling, WV to the late John Edward and Charity Martin Echols. She was a retired vice president of Pan Am Credit Union in Miami, FL. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Church of Christ. Also preceding her in death her loving husband Hollis E. Curry; two brothers, John E. Echols, Jr., William E. Echols; one sister, Betty Charles.

She is survived by her sister Dottie Echols Ruckh of Wheeling, WV; and her caretaker, Vanessa Weaver of Blue Ridge, GA.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Chapel with Min. James Pasley officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Condolences may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
